UCD Marian’s dedication was recognized in 2010 when the club was named Basketball Ireland’s Club of the Year, capping off a decade of growth and success, including an U20 National Title. In 2011, with a roster built around homegrown talent, UCD Marian ended a 25-year wait for another National Cup victory, defeating Killester. That core group went on to compete at the highest level for several seasons before winning the Super League title in 2018, marking the club’s second national league championship.

For the past decade under Ioannis Liapakis, we’ve placed a strong emphasis on off-season development. Conor Meany, a former Super League player for 15 years, was part of the club’s successes from 2010 onward. With experience at Basketball Ireland, the sport’s governing body, he was familiar with many existing systems but was particularly impressed by SportsVisio:
